National Naval Aviation Museum to Host ‘Visitor Appreciation Days’ This Summer

June 17 and July 15

 

Pensacola, Fla. – (June 9, 2023) – The National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM) is excited to host two upcoming Visitor Appreciation Days this summer as a way to recognize the Pensacola community for their loyal support.

The first of the two dates – Raffle Day – will take place Saturday, June 17. Starting at 10 a.m., NNAM will raffle off gift baskets and prizes, valued at $100+ each, every hour until 3 p.m. A grand prize final drawing for a Navy G1 Bomber Jacket, valued at more than $600, will be held at the end of the day. There is no purchase necessary to enter, and the winners need not be present at the time of the drawing.

The second Visitor Appreciation Day takes place Saturday, July 15, and will focus on kids’ activities and entertainment. More details for the July date will be announced soon.

“We are so are grateful for our community’s unwavering support, so this is just a small way for us to say thank you to everyone for sticking with us over the past three years,” said Rear Adm. Kyle Cozad, president and CEO of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. “We invite everyone back out to visit the museum and experience the magic and history of naval aviation!”

The National Naval Aviation Museum is open Monday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
