(February 20, 2024) – Get ready to “Go Irish on the Island” with a vibrant tapestry of 17 participating Pensacola Beach bars, restaurants, and hotels offering up a pot of gold filled with Irish drink specials, live music, and mischievous fun. The Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the 37th annual St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl on Pensacola Beach, igniting the Emerald Isle spirit all day long on Sunday, March 17.

President and CEO of the Beach Chamber, Meg Peltier, cordially invites all to don their finest shades of green and join in the revelry, stating, “Let’s paint the beach green together and support our beloved beach businesses!”

Kicking off at 9 a.m., Crabs on the Beach offers an Irish breakfast fit for champions, complete with a drink to get your day started right. But if you’re feeling a tad more traditional, head over to Paddy O’Leary’s Irish Pub for a Catholic mass with Bishop William A. Pensacola Beach is owned by Escambia County, Fla., and is under the direction of the Santa Rosa Island Authority (SRIA). The SRIA was created by the Florida legislature in 1947 under Chapter 24500. The SRIA does not receive tax support from the taxpayers of the county. It is fully funded from lease fees collected from business and residences on the beach. The SRIA board is made up of six members; five are named by members of the Escambia County Board of Commissioners whose term is the same as the commissioner who appointed them. Registered voters on Pensacola Beach elect the sixth member. The elected member’s term is two years.
