National Flight Academy Offers 3-Day Spring Break Camps

January 23, 2018 –Pensacola, Fl—The National Flight Academy will host 3-day Cruise programs during spring break. Registration for the National Flight Academy’s 3-day Cruise programs are now open for fifth-12th grade students.

Students will apply science and math skills while planning missions, utilizing large Newline interactive displays powered by Google Earth technology, learn to fly in the X-12B Triad experimental aircraft, eat in the mess deck and sleep in staterooms.

A variety of 3-day Cruise programs cover subject matter areas such as aerodynamics, meteorology and physics. The 3-day overnight program blends the culture and excitement of aviation and emphasizes workforce skills such as leadership, teamwork, critical thinking and effective communication. 3-Day Cruise programs open for the following dates:

Santa Rosa and Okaloosa Counties:

  • Sunday, March 18 – Tuesday, March 20. Registration closes February 21.


Escambia County:

  • Sunday, March 25 — Tuesday, March 27. Registration closes February 28.
