22 Aug The Grand Marlin on Pensacola Beach Recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America in 2018 by OpenTable

August 22, 2018 –Pensacola Beach, Fl— OpenTable, the world’s leading provider of online restaurant reservations, unveiled its annual listing of 100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America for 2018 today and The Grand Marlin Pensacola Beach was recognized. The Grand Marlin is the only restaurant in North Florida awarded the honor.

The listing highlights restaurants with astonishing views across the country. The list was culled from more than 12 million verified OpenTable user reviews of more than 28,000 restaurants in all 50 states and Washington D.C. collected between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018. All restaurants with a minimum overall score and number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Those that qualified were then scored and sorted according to the percentage of reviews for which “scenic views” was selected as a special feature.

“We know a memorable meal is as much about the ambiance as it is about the food,” said Caroline Potter, OpenTable’s Chief Dining Officer. “This year’s list represents an immense variety of restaurants that not only offer an exceptional meal but also feature breathtaking views that enhance the experience for locals and travelers alike.”

The complete list features winning restaurants spanning 25 states and offering a variety of stellar views. California topped the list with 27 restaurants among the honorees, followed by Florida with 13 winners and New York with eight.
