Featuring Visiting Glass Artist Joe Grant

January 12, 2018 –Pensacola, Fl—First City Art Center (FCAC) is excited to host “HOT GLASS, COLD BREW” Great Gatsby Edition – on Friday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. located at 1060 N. Guillemard St.

Join us for this fun Great Gatsby-themed event. Full admission ($20 members/$25 non-members) will include a signature handmade glass or ceramic cup. These collectible glasses and cups are limited and go fast, so come early. Members and prepaid ticket holders will have early access. General admission tickets will be on sale at the gate at 6 p.m.

FCAC Members Enter at 5:15 p.m., Prepaid Ticket Holders Enter at 5:30 p.m., General Admission at 6:00 p.m.

January’s Hot Glass Cold Brew will feature guest artist Joe Grant, who has taught at many glass facilities throughout the United States, as well as being a featured artist and instructor abroad. Grant is currently the director at Starworks Glass in North Carolina.

In addition to glass demonstrations, there will be pottery demos and preforming artists. Make sure to grab a prop at our photo booth and snap a fun picture to remember the evening. There will be upbeat dance music performed by the Knee Deep Band, a Pensacola favorite. The event will also include a gallery opening showcasing works from FCAC gallery artists and an Art Market.

Patrons will enjoy light fare provided by Fish Fry Magazine along with two complimentary beers from Pensacola Bay Brewery. Additional beer tickets may be purchased.

Bring the whole family. Reduced Admission (without signature cup) for children over 12 is $10. Children under 12 are free. Weather permitting there will be a children’s activity area set-up.
