Celebrate Halloween at the National Naval Aviation Museum

October 4, 2016 –Pensacola, Fl—The National Naval Aviation Museum is hosting a free, fun-filled, family-friendly Halloween event on Saturday, Oct. 29. Ghouls and ghosts of all ages are invited to attend the 18th annual Halloween at the Museum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in costume and explore the Museum’s 350,000 square feet of exhibit space.

Trick-or-treat stations will be located throughout museum exhibits until candy supplies last, and children will receive a free bag upon entering. Children dressed in costume will be admitted for free to “The Magic of Flight” in the Giant Screen Theater when accompanied by a paying adult. In addition, kids in costume are eligible for a “buy one, get one free” popcorn from the Giant Screen Theater refreshment counter. 

Daring museum visitors can take rides on the “Superstition” motion-based simulator ride bundled with a custom dog tag for only $8, as well as a special discount to the Museum’s Flight Deck Store.

Blue Wahoos’ Kazoo, the Chick-fil-A Cow and Florida Forest Service’s Smoky Bear will make special appearances during the mascot meet-and-greet from 10 to 11 a.m. and 12 to 1 p.m. in the Blue Angels Atrium.

Visitors are encouraged to explore the National Flight Academy’s haunted ship tour for a frightful, friendly good time. Candy stations and snacks will be located in the mess deck until supplies last and haunted hallways will come alive onboard the virtual aircraft carrier, Ambition.
