#CapturePensacolaBeach Photo Contest Delivers Hundreds Of New Photos For Pensacola Beach Marketing

by Katie King |Katie@ewbullock.com

The #CapturePensacolaBeach photo contest for Santa Rosa Island Authority is back for a second year and continues to be an excellent source of stunning new Pensacola Beach photos.

In 2020, EW Bullock created the first #CapturePensacolaBeach campaign for the Santa Rosa Island Authority and asked locals and visitors alike to submit their favorite images of Pensacola Beach in the photo contest. The campaign was a smashing success, with hundreds of submissions. Eventually, more than two dozen user-submitted photos made their way into the 2020 Visitor Guide and online.

This year we have captured that momentum, once again. Participants are invited to submit their best high-resolution photos taken on Pensacola Beach – from Fort Pickens all the way to Opal Beach – and surrounding waters. Suggested photo categories include nature photography, family fun, action shots, sunset, sunrise and everything in between. The only requirement is they must be taken on Pensacola Beach.

Those who enter the photo contest are eligible to be featured in the Visit Pensacola Beach website, social media channels and in the 2021 Visitor Guide.

The contest is open through April 10, 2021 and has generated more than 380 entries.

All winners will be selected by an internal committee and will have their photos featured with their name and/or social media handle recognized.
