Discounts and fun for families on a budget at the 82nd Pensacola Interstate Fair, Oct. 20-30

Pensacola, Fla. – (Sept. 19, 2016) – Eleven days of rides, food, fun, music and gaming is affordable for families looking for exciting things to do on a budget. The Pensacola Interstate Fair offers options to save your hard-earned cash with the return of Walgreens discount ride wristbands and ½ price admission tickets.  In addition, there will be discount ride wristband days, free events and concerts and special admission days so you can join us in all the magic and fun!

Buy your advance sale tickets and ride wristbands at Walgreens for ½ Price Admission and Discounted Ride Wristbands.  Tickets and Wristbands go on sale at local Walgreens September 21 and are available through the first Friday of the Fair, October 21.  Each admission ticket and ride wristband is valid for one day only.  No Walgreens ½ price admission tickets or discounted ride wristbands will be available after October 21.

The prices for the ½ price admission tickets and discounted ride wristbands are as follows:
•    Adult Admission Tickets – $6 for ages 12 and up ($12 at the Fair; savings of $6)
•    Child Admission Tickets – $3 for ages 4-11 ($6 at the Fair; savings of $3)
•    Advance Weekday Super Saver Ride Wristband – $15 ($20 at the Fair; savings of $5)

*   Good for Mon-Thurs use only (also accepted Sunday, Oct. 30)
*   Can be upgraded at main ticket booth for weekend use (for an additional $5)
*   Valid for 1 day only

•    Advance Any Day Super Saver Ride Wristband – $20 ($25 at the Fair; savings of $5)

*   Good for any day of the Fair
*   Valid for 1 day only

***Walgreens Advance Sale Any Day Ride Wristbands can be used for Midnight Madness, but they must be accompanied by Advance ½ price Walgreens admission ticket, as well.  Advance Walgreen Adult/Child admission tickets will be accepted all day long on both Fridays for those wanting to walk around.  No General Admission tickets will be sold at the gate after 8:00 p.m.

General gate admission to the Fair is $12 for adults, $6 for children age four to 11, and free for children under four, and ride wristbands are $20 for Mon-Thurs use (also good on Sunday, Oct. 30) and $25 for Fri-Sun use.  Individual ride tickets will also be available.  There is also a $5 parking fee, which will be collected upon exiting the Fair parking lot.

Thursday, Oct. 20
•    Opening Day Special – Special Walgreens Buddy Day – 2 get in for the price of 1 with Advance Sale Adult or Child Walgreens admission tickets.  Highest admission applies.  Children 3 and under are free at all times.
•    Fair hours are 4 p.m.–11 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 21
•    Midnight Madness – At 8 p.m., “Pay One Price” Midnight Madness Tickets will be on sale at the Fair Entrance Ticket Booth. The $25 Midnight Madness ticket allows unlimited rides and also includes free admission into the Fair. Midnight Madness Wristbands are good on all Reithoffer Midway rides from
8 p.m. to 2 a.m. ONLY. No general admission tickets will be sold after 8 p.m.  Walgreens Advance Sale Any Day Ride Wristbands can be used for Midnight Madness, but they must be accompanied by Advance ½ price Walgreens admission ticket, as well.  Advance Walgreen Adult/Child admission tickets will be accepted all day long on both Fridays for those wanting to walk around.  No General Admission tickets will be sold at the gate after 8:00 p.m. Anyone who bought admission and ride wristbands before 8 p.m. and is on the Fairgrounds will be able to stay on the Fairgrounds and ride until closing.
•    Fair hours are 4 p.m.–2 a.m.

Saturday, Oct. 22
•    Kids’ Day – All kids 11 years and under will be admitted FREE into the Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. General Admission prices apply after 2 p.m. Fair closes at midnight.
•    Fair hours are 11 a.m.–12 a.m.

Sunday, Oct. 23
•    Special Walgreens Buddy Day – 2 get in for the price of 1 with Advance Sale Adult or Child Walgreens admission tickets from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.   Highest admission applies.  General Admission prices apply after 2 p.m.  Special Walgreens Buddy Day promotion cannot be combined with any other daily promotion.
•    Buddy Day – Bring a Buddy and 2 get in for the price of 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Highest admission applies). General Admission prices apply after 2 p.m.  Buddy Day promotion cannot be combined with any other daily promotion.
•    Military Appreciation Day – All active and retired military personnel and spouse with proper identification will be admitted for $6 all day (does not include dependents other than spouse).  Military Appreciation Special cannot be combined with any other daily promotion.
•    Fair hours are 11 a.m.–11 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 24
•    Cox Day – Check your September Cox bill for a FREE admission coupon. Valid for ONE admission only.
•    Fair hours are 4 p.m.–11 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 25
•    Ladies’ Day – Women of all ages will be admitted FREE into the Fair from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Regular admission from 6 p.m. until closing.
•    Fair hours are 4 p.m.–11 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 28
•    Special $10 Wristband Day – Purchase a ride wristband for $10. Wristbands are good on all Reithoffer Midway Rides until closing. Individual ride tickets are also available all day.
•    Manna Food Pantries Food Drive – Bring in 2 cans of food for Manna Food Pantries and get $2 off (1) adult admission.  Each set of cans is valid for ONE discounted adult admission on this day only.
•    Fair hours are 4 p.m.–11 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 27
•    Senior Appreciation Day – The Fair will open exhibits, vendors and most concessionaires early at 2 p.m., and senior citizens ages 55 and up will get in for $6 all day.  As part of Senior Appreciation day, there will be two performances by Cornell Gunter’s Coasters at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.  All ages are welcome with general admission prices, but the midway (rides and games) will not be open until 4 p.m.
•    Fair hours are 2 p.m.–11 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 28

•    Special Admission Family Day – Special $6 admission price for everyone and FREE to children 3 and under (Any previously purchased discounted admission tickets or passes will count as ONE ADMISSION ONLY). Fair closes at 10 p.m.  No exhibit buildings will be open this day, and there will be no stage entertainment.

•    Special Wristband Day – Purchase a special ride wristband for $20. Wristbands are good on all Reithoffer Midway Rides until closing. Individual ride tickets are also available all day.  Both Walgreens Super Saver Ride Wristbands are also redeemable.
•    Fair hours are 11 a.m.–10 p.m.
