Ellis W. Bullock III
ellis@ewbullock.com
If there's a great new book on business trends, getting the best from your employees, providing the best service to clients, technology or creativity - Ellis either read it or he's reading it now. He’s our "big picture" thinker.
President and creative director, Ellis founded the agency in 1982, is involved in every aspect of the company and is responsible for overall management, creative direction and production coordination. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in visual communications design from Florida State University. And never one to miss an opportunity to learn about other cultures, he went the university's Italian study center in Florence. He travels abroad frequently but is especially fond of Italy.
Ellis is civic minded as well - recognized in 1996 by the American Marketing Association as "Marketer of the Year" in Northwest Florida. In 1997, Ellis received the prestigious Silver Medal award from the American Advertising Federation. He was selected as "Small Business Person of the Year" for 1997 and as "Volunteer of the Year" in 1999 by the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. He is involved in many civic and social organizations - currently serving on the boards of the Baptist Health Care Foundation, Pensacola Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100, The Fiesta of Five Flags and Pensacola Rotary Club. He has also been active in Volunteer Pensacola, the Pensacola Escambia Clean Community Commission, Community Alcohol & Drug Commission and United Way.
A lifelong resident of Pensacola, Ellis lives in East Hill with his wife, Joan. They have three children: Alexa, Ellis IV and Chapman - and their first grandchild, Ada.
Caroline Menetre
caroline@ewbullock.com
Caroline is our Southern belle. She is a graduate of the “W” (the Mississippi University for Women, not the President), with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in commercial art. She was lucky enough to begin her career in advertising immediately after graduation as graphic designer at an advertising agency in Meridian, Mississippi for several years.
Caroline’s dry sense of humor and the fact that she’s an easy target for any prank involving a plastic bug makes her our office comic. She is also the green thumb of the agency – taking landscaping classes in the evenings and giving great advice on what to plant where and how to keep it alive.Caroline was one of the first employees ever hired at E.W. Bullock, joining the agency in 1983 as art director – with a broad range of experience in all aspects of creative design, its implementation and execution. She currently resides in Atlanta.
Sarah Turner
sarah@ewbullock.com
A Pensacola native, Sarah has been with the agency since 1984 (she likes to say she started here at age 15). She frequently leaves her hometown on travels to Australia to visit her family and has enjoyed adventures all around the globe - from bungee jumping and sky diving in New Zealand to hiking Patagonia, diving the Great Barrier Reef to hunting big game in Zimbabwe... with a camera - she's not THAT adventurous (plus she loves animals).
Sarah graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in commercial art and Bachelor of Science degree in art education, but she continually enhances her creativity, taking classes from oil painting to tap dancing and enjoys smocking dresses for her adorable niece.
Sandy Bartoszewicz
sandy@ewbullock.com
Sandy is our money woman. She joined us in 1986 as our financial officer and office manager. If you owe it to her - pay it. If she owes it to you - it's in the mail. She handles payroll as well, so we love her on the first and fifteenth of the month - we even let her control the air conditioner on those days (she likes it on low blizzard). If you don't know something, ask her and she'll know how to find it out. If you're hungry and don't know what you want, she'll help you with that too - from where to go to what time to leave. Sandy also oversees our jobs and billing - and she custom designed our very own (very efficient) project tracking system.
She lives in Pensacola with her husband, John and daughter, Jenna.
Nancy Young
nancy@ewbullock.com
Has she got a dog for you! A loyal worker and friend, Nancy is also a volunteer and former board member of the Humane Society of Pensacola. She has a soft spot for anything with fur. Her dogged compassion shows in her artistic dedication to our many social service accounts.
Nancy graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1984 and joined E.W. Bullock Associates in 1986. After taking a brief sabbatical in 1990 to earn a degree in graphic design at Parsons School of Design in New York City, she returned home to the agency in 1991.
Nancy and her husband, Chuck, reside in Pensacola with their sons, Russell and Robert (and their five dogs and cat).
And she makes a mean margarita. Oh, and she says for us to add "Please remember to spay and neuter your pets!"
Brandi Thompson
brandi@ewbullock.com
Brandi has sat at almost every desk in the office - while her official title might be web mistress (which just doesn't sound right), she goes by Jill of All Trades as well and has worked in nearly every position in the agency. Currently she oversees production, content management and client relations for over 50 web sites and interactivity projects, maintains a network of more than 20 Macintosh computers and occasionally writes copy (like these bios). She is also the agency's chief worrier and thus is in charge of the company disaster plan.
She joined the agency in 1990 with a bachelor's in creative writing from Eckerd College. Passionate about her community, Brandi was a founding board member of Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies (BRACE) and has served on the boards of the Pensacola Bay Area Ad Federation and the Baybrook Homeowners' Association.
Brandi lives in Pensacola with her delightful daughter, Maggie.
Pete Gurtowsky
pete@ewbullock.com
As one of our graphic designers in our incredible art department, Pete's been a great asset to the company since 1997. He lives in Pensacola with his wife, Theresa and son, Logan.
Raad Cawthon
raad@ewbullock.com
A lover of good books, great food and cheap wine - Raad joined E.W. Bullock Associates in 2001 after a two-decade sabbatical from the City of Five Flags.
In the late '70s and early '80s Raad was a reporter with the Pensacola Journal and the now-defunct Pensacola News. He covered the Escambia County Commission, the Pensacola City Council and the Santa Rosa Island Authority. After leaving the News-Journal, Raad worked with several major newspapers, winning a number of awards including a Sigma Delta Chi reporting award, several awards from the Associated Press, and in-house awards with Gannett Newspapers. Better yet, he got to cover some of the best of sports: the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers, NASCAR, the Atlanta Braves, Southeastern college football and major golf tournaments including The Masters.
He now focuses his talents on public relations and communications for the agency, from crisis management to consulting to copywriting.
Raad received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from the University of Georgia. He and his photographer wife, Karena, reside in Pensacola's East Hill.
Ashley Chisholm
ashley@ewbullock.com
Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology from Millersville University and immediately went into broadcasting. Before accepting the chief meteorologist position at WEAR-TV in Pensacola, Ashley was nominated for an Emmy for "Outstanding Individual Achievement" for her coverage of two extreme weather events. She was later awarded "Best Weather Anchor 2000" by Emerald Coast Magazine.
Her warm personality, cool head in emergencies and experience working in the public eye has given Ashley the opportunity to be co-chair, keynote speaker or master of ceremonies of many different events ranging from hurricane conferences to music video awards.
Ashley joined E.W. Bullock Associates in 2001 as a public relations account manager. She works on variety of accounts such as tourism for the Pensacola Bay Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, special events for The Village of Baytowne Wharf and public information for the Escambia County Department of Public Safety. She is a member of the Pensacola Bay Area Ad Federation, Florida Public Relations Association and the Pensacola Historical Society. Ashley lives on Pensacola Beach with her daughter, Bailey.
Trisha Idoni
trisha@ewbullock.com
Trisha was born and raised in Jacksonville and graduated from Florida State University. She relocated to Pensacola in the late '80s and started working as a technical illustrator creating illustrations for aircraft training manuals for the military and then for Sikorsky Helicopters while begging and pleading area businesses for a job in graphic design.
In 1991 her big break came when she landed a position with a scuba diving magazine, with a little office cleaning and moonlighting at the Gap thrown in to buy food.
In 1995 Trisha gained a husband but took a pay cut to leave her magazines and cleaning behind and entered the advertising world. After several years with other agencies, she feels blessed to call E. W. Bullock home since 2002 and has been fortunate to work on a plethora of projects including the Pensacola Bay Area Convention & Visitors Bureau guides and the Pensacola Symphony programs.
Trish resides in an adorable East Hill cottage with her equally adorable husband, Mike, and daughter, Mallory (who is also an aspiring artist) - along with feline friends, Whiskers - the inside kitty - and two strays who rule the driveway.
Leslie Smith
leslie@ewbullock.com
Leslie joined E.W. Bullock Associates in 2002 after more than thirteen years of account management, media planning and video production experience with several other agencies (which we'll not name here).
She's sharp, she's smart and she tells it like it is (especially about food - she's a picky eater). Leslie serves as account manager for Baptist Health Care, Pensacola Convention & Visitors Bureau and several others. She's also a LEAP graduate - Class of 2003, the marketing committee chairperson for GraceFest and a member of Hospitality Roundtable.
Leslie graduated from the University of West Florida in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in communication arts/advertising. She has served as an officer of the Northwest Florida American Marketing Association and as a member of the Pensacola Bay Area Advertising Federation.
Sabine Barrett
sabine@ewbullock.com
Sabine is a native of Innsbruck, Austria and graduated from the University of Klagenfurt with a master's degree in communications. Her native language is German, and she also speaks English and Italian fluently, although we have to tease her about her accent - (woice mail) and her creative confusion of the phrases "spring fever" and "ants in one's pants."
Sabine joined our agency in 2003 and is responsible for client research, public relations and web management. She is a board member of the Pensacola Bay Area Advertising Federation and a member of the Florida Public Relations Association. Her prior experiences also include an internship with Swarovski (the crystal company!) in the international public relations department, and she worked as a multiple-language-representative for Volkswagen. She's great with interpretations and enriches the culture of our agency.
Sabine first came to the US as an exchange student with UWF in 2000. That's when she met her husband Paul - while sailing on "Awesome" in Pensacola Bay. Paul and Sabine live in Gulf Breeze with their kitzi, Bella and dog, Starbuck.
Stacie Dice
stacie@ewbullock.com
We took a gamble on Miss Dice and hit the jackpot! Stacie is one of the newest members of our team and deals our media. She's on a great roll, and we bet she'll be with us for a long, long time. She earned a bachelor's degree from Troy State University in management with a minor in administration and gained local experience working with MediaCom and ClearChannel Radio.
A long time northwest Florida resident, she lives in Cantonment with her son, Drew. We are lucky to have her.

Mike brings with him nearly 20 years experience in management, sales, graphics / print production, and technology services. Mike is responsible for full service account management, new business development, account support and new media technology.
